"Painterly." You will see this word often bantered about in the design world right now. This is one of the trends. (The knob with the pantone pinks is not so much an example of this trend as it is a literal display of "painterly." I just liked the straight forwardness of it!) If you are looking to add this trend to your decor, pickup a pillow or some new knobs. It will add a feminine lilt to your surroundings without being TOO sweet and girlie. Lots of pretty hues to choose. Plum, lawn green, golden yellows, teal, and lots of versions of reds (pinks to fuschias!) You are bound to find colors you love in this new trend!
